ADOPT/FOSTER.
Animals in our rescue receive appropriate veterinary care and treatment, are spayed or neutered, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await their permanent homes. We assist those in distress without regard to age, breed, or ease of placement.
Please understand that Revolution Rescue does not adopt on a first come first serve basis. We place our dogs and cats in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating perspective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives.
You must be at least 19 years old to foster and 21 years old to adopt. If you are renting, we will require speaking with your landlord and getting a written document stating that you are allowed to have pets where you rent and a pet deposit has been agreed upon and paid.
Please be 100% committed to adopting! Please be sure your lifestyle allows the time, patience and expense this pet will need over the years. Adding a pet to your family is a 10 to 20 year commitment. Animals are not toys or short-term commitments and they are NOT disposable.
